Week 1 Camp Offerings
Mathletics with Mrs. Bryant (Incoming 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Graders)
For students entering 2nd, 3rd, and 4th! Mathletics will be a class that explores STRATEGIES for Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division. The day will consist of lessons, practice, activities, and games! This class is for all of you who have thought to yourself…or said out loud, “I’m just not good at Math!” Mrs. Bryant is looking forward to proving you wrong!
Martial Arts with Mr. Baker (Incoming 2nd through 8th Grade)
Come learn the basics of the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do with Mr. Baker! Students will learn self-defense technique, build confidence, focus, and discipline, all while getting some great physical exercise! With a second degree black belt and eight years of experience, Mr. Baker is excited to share his knowledge this summer.
Crafting with Mrs. Martinez (Incoming 2nd through 8th Grade)
Do you love crafting and creating fun new things? In this class you will learn new skills that will help your mind create works of art!
Guitar with Mr. Griffith (Incoming 4th grade and up) *Half Day only
Have you always wanted to learn guitar? Well, this week is for you! Our beginning guitar class will focus on three areas: 1. Practicing Chords. 2. Basic reading of music, using the Hal Leonard Beginning Guitar Method book. 3. Playing and singing songs.
No musical experience required. Please bring your own guitar. We look forward to a fun week of learning to play the guitar together!
Hand Lettering with Mrs. O’Donnell (Ages 11+) *Half Day only
Learn the art of design with Hand Lettering! Lessons in traditional calligraphy and trendy hand-lettering all culminating in a project to take home at the end of the week!
